POLITICS – The Systems of Man

The Rule of Earthly Power and Corruption

Politics: The Illusion of Power and Control

Since the fall of man, humanity has sought to govern itself through political systems, striving for order, justice, and power. Yet, no matter how advanced or refined these systems become, they consistently fall short of delivering the peace and righteousness that only God’s Kingdom can bring. Politics, in its various forms, is often a reflection of human ambition and division, shaped by agendas that rarely align with divine truth.

The Bible makes it clear that all authority ultimately belongs to God. While earthly governments rise and fall, His sovereignty remains unshaken. Throughout Scripture, God uses kings and rulers to accomplish His purposes, but He also warns against placing trust in human leadership. When Israel demanded a king to rule over them, they rejected God’s direct governance, setting in motion a pattern of flawed leadership that continues to this day.

Politics has become one of the enemy’s most effective tools to divide people, fostering pride, hatred, and deception. Instead of seeking unity under God’s rule, humanity is led to believe that salvation can come through policies, parties, and leaders. This deception distracts from the true solution—the return of God’s Kingdom on earth, where Jesus reigns as the only righteous King.

Jesus’ message was profoundly political, yet it transcended the politics of His day. He proclaimed the arrival of a new Kingdom, one not built by human hands but established by God Himself. His followers are called to operate within the world but not to be of it, serving as ambassadors of a higher authority.

This page will explore the intersection of politics and faith, uncovering how the enemy manipulates political systems to undermine God’s purposes. We will examine the biblical perspective on governance and the believer’s role in navigating political landscapes without compromising their allegiance to Christ.

The call is clear—do not be conformed to the patterns of this world. The only true government that will bring lasting peace and justice is the one that Christ will establish. Let us shift our focus from the temporary systems of man to the eternal Kingdom of God.
